I mean it’s Ray’s what else do you need to know? If you ask me, they should be bestowed a cultural asset. I love that however busy they are, I still feel like I’m the only guest there and to me that’s what true customer service is about. Service is always 10/10.. food can be a miss sometimes but they’re always willing to make changes to make sure you have a great food experience so that’s not an issue. It’s a great spot for any occasion - date night, girls night, family hangout, etc. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Their wine collection is so dreamy!

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!♥️ we had reservations and was greeted and celebrated at the arrival of the restaurant. Location of our table was right by the river it was so romantic. We had calamari and shrimp, oysters, red fish and seafood platter with Brown cake. Everything was really tasty. The seafood platter was undercooked, however everything else excellent! Didn’t want to complain, took it home and remade it the next day. Wasn’t as good, I made the best out of it. Waitress & waiter were great!!

Came here for a birthday lunch and the meal was delicious! The service was just ok, our server was not as alert to when we were ready to order and had to wait on him multiple times, but the food made up for it. The crab cake is delicious and the lobster salad is super fresh and colorful. They brought out a delicious lemon butter cake that was a great end to a tasty lunch. The views next to the window tables are also the best!!

By far this was the most amazing restaurant and service I’ve ever enjoyed! From the atmosphere when you first walk in, to the fine choice of music to the amazing food and very kind and attentive servers. I’m truly delighted and impressed. Our servers Rachel and Mike were phenomenal, and very considerate. They ensured top quality service and my date and I had a wonderful time. We celebrated our 1st year anniversary and it was an unforgettable date! Thank you :)

Ray’s on the River offers impeccable service in an upscale, scenic setting just outside the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. Our server was outstanding, knowledgeable, attentive, and guided us through the menu step by step, which elevated the experience. Highly recommended, we started with the Goat Cheese Pimento Fritters, and they did not disappoint. There were four, perfect for sharing, and the house-made pepper jelly was a flavorful and well-balanced accompaniment. Since we were just visiting and didn’t want leftovers, we split the ribeye, which the kitchen kindly sliced for us. We also added the sauce ensemble, and we’re glad we did. While the steak was cooked properly, it lacked the bold seasoning and crust we expect from a top-tier steakhouse. It needed that extra punch to stand out on its own. My husband added the dayboat scallops, but they didn’t feel essential to the meal. As for sides, we chose the whipped potatoes, which were generously portioned but underwhelming in flavor, missing the richness of cream, butter, or garlic that could’ve made them more memorable. After all that food, we had no room left for dessert. But we did enjoy a lovely view of the Chattahoochee River from our booth, which made the evening feel peaceful and relaxed. Ray’s is a great option if you want a fine dining experience without heading into downtown Atlanta or the Battery. While all of the items on the menu didn’t blow us away, the atmosphere and service make it worth a visit.
